Founded in 1996, the Bangalore team is certainly multi-cultural but we are predominantly Indian and have provided several players to the Indian national rugby team over the years. We now also have two full-time development officers who coach in schools and orphanages around Bangalore.

The foundation of the Indian Hockey Federation were thus laid with Col. Bruce Turnball as President and Mr. N.H. Ansari as Honorary Secretary. It was however, not till 1927 that the Federation started functioning as a live body. Its headquarters were shifted from Gawalior to Delhi.
