Centre for Disability Studies has been established
to advocate for the rights of persons with
disability. It is an initiative to trigger thought
processes on the interplay between the legal order
and disabilities. The Centre is a congregation of
legal minds who are especially focussing on how
the power of law can be used to challenge the
stereotypes and prejudices towards persons with
disabilities.
The Bihar Government has established Chanakya National Law University to provide quality legal education on the lines of NALSAR Hyderabad, NLSIU Bangalore and other Law Universities. The University has already commenced the work at A.N.Sinha Institute of Social Studies campus, Gandhi Maidan, Patna.
